Frequently asked questions.
Yearly dues:
Yearly dues is an estimated amount of funds that may be required to maintain the road. Insurance for the association is also part of the yearly dues. As we all know cost for materials keep rising and weather and nature affects what our cost are. The board does its best to foresee what our cost will be for the next year and what the future costs might be.
Snowplowing:
At this time there are no plans to hire a contractor to plow the road. The cost to plow 3 miles of road will not be cheap! Several land owners have made arrangements with local people to have there access cleared as necessary on their own.
Tree cutting:
In the future tree growth into the roadways path will have to be addressed. Several owners clear sections of the road on their own time which helps all of us. If everyone cleared just their section of road this would help a great deal, but takes time. This will be a topic in the future.
Speed:
Speeding is becoming a problem. The association has the right to post speed limits on the roadway. This will also be address in the future.
